Design your ultimate layer cake in a 1x1 jam session with a Milk Bar baker and watch as it becomes a reality — in 30 minutes flat.

Here’s how it works:
- Step 1: Book your spot. We recommend claiming your spot ahead of time.
- Step 2: Time to design your cake! Arrive 5-10 minutes early.
- Step 3: Meet with your Milk Bar baker, who will guide you through your dream cake layer by layer: base, frosting, soak, crumbs and spreadable filling. Not sure what you want? Taste along the way!
- Step 4: Watch as your Milk Bar baker lovingly builds and boxes up your masterpiece in 30 minutes flat — or take a walk around the store (we’ll buzz you).
- Step 5: Done! You just designed your own Milk Bar layer cake.
Important
- • This experience requires no cooking on your part! If you’d like a more hands-on experience, check out our Classes.
- • You can pre-book your experience up to 24 hours in advance. Same-day bookings can be made via walk-in.
- • Each Build-A-Cake spot includes one 6" layer cake. Only ONE cake may be made per 30 minute time slot. If you wish to design two cakes, please book two separate time slots.
- • Please be sure to share any allergies or dietary restrictions with us 7 days in advance of your slot by contacting help@milkbarstore.com!
- • Feel free to bring a friend, but no large groups, please!
- • If you can’t make it, you can cancel by contacting our support team at least 24 hours before your booking for a full refund (no-shows and late cancellations are non-refundable).
